Dr.Ozone Commitment
The Dr.Ozone D-200S industrial ozone generator consists of two main components:
-
The ozone generation unit (including the PCB board and plasma discharge chamber)
-
The oxygen enrichment system, including refrigeration drying, air filtration and dehumidification modules
The D-200S is commonly used in wastewater treatment, drinking water treatment, bottled water production, aquaculture water treatment, swimming pools, and large-scale exhaust gas treatment systems.
Advanced Gas Separation and Purification System
Gas separation plays a critical role in determining the purity of ozone and ensuring that no nitrogen residues remain in the final output gas.
For Dr.Ozone generators above 200 g/h, the system includes:
-
High-performance oil-free air compressor
-
Refrigeration air dryer
-
Adsorption dryer
-
Oil separators
-
Multi-stage air filters
-
Pressurized gas tank
This ensures the inlet air stream achieves:
-
A dew point below –40°C
-
Inlet gas temperature below 25°C
-
Particle removal capability down to 1 μm
-
Supply pressure ≥ 0.1 MPa
These conditions guarantee stable and efficient performance of the ozone generation chamber.
Efficient Water Cooling Technology
Ozone discharge chambers generate significant heat during operation.
The D-200S uses an upgraded water-cooling system that maintains a stable ozone chamber temperature regardless of seasonal or environmental temperature changes.
Cooling water requirements:
-
Pressure: 0.2 MPa
-
Temperature: <25°C
-
pH: 6.5–8
This ensures high ozone output stability and prolongs the lifespan of the discharge chamber.
Features of the Dr.Ozone D200S Industrial Ozone Generator
Safe and Efficient Operation With Low Water Flow Alarm
The system uses sensors to monitor water level and cooling water flow. When insufficient water is detected, the machine issues an alarm (light and sound) and automatically stops operation to prevent overheating, ensuring stability and long service life.
High-Efficiency Quartz Discharge Tube
The D200S uses a premium quartz discharge tube combined with micro-gap water cooling technology.
Advantages:
-
High ozone production efficiency
-
Long durability
-
Corrosion resistance
-
Stable long-term ozone output
High-Grade Oxygen Generator Using French Molecular Sieve
The integrated oxygen generator ensures a stable supply of high-purity oxygen for ozone production.
-
Zeolite molecular sieve imported from France
-
PSA pressure swing adsorption technology
-
Oxygen purity above 90%
-
Oil-free air compressor ensures clean airflow and prevents contamination
This results in high-quality ozone output and protects the entire system from damage or oxidation.
Integrating the Dr.Ozone D-200S Into Treatment Systems
The D-200S is widely used in:
-
Industrial wastewater treatment
-
Residential water treatment
-
Aquaculture RAS disinfection
-
Commercial swimming pools
-
Large-scale industrial exhaust gas treatment
Below is an overview of how the D-200S is installed in wastewater disinfection and decolorization systems.
Standard Installation Components
-
Oil-free air compressor
-
Dr.Oxy oxygen enrichment system (92% purity, 40 L/min)
-
Recirculating cooling tank
-
Submersible cooling pump for ozone chamber
-
Safety balancing valve preventing backflow of water into the ozone chamber
-
Ejector for improved ozone mixing (up to +40%)
-
Static mixer for efficient ozone dissolution (up to +60%)
-
Stainless steel booster pump (commonly Ebara, Italy) for integrating ozone into the main water pipeline
Application of Ozone in Industrial Wastewater Treatment
Ozone not only removes color from wastewater but also eliminates surfactants and partially reduces COD, improving biodegradability.
Decolorization typically requires a small ozone dose, while COD reduction requires higher ozone consumption.
Example Case – Textile Dyeing Wastewater
-
Initial COD: 1056 mg/L
-
Color intensity: 160 times (dark brown)
-
pH: alkaline
-
Strong unpleasant odor
After treatment with the Dr.Ozone system:
-
COD reduced to 240 mg/L
-
Color intensity reduced to 18 times
-
Total ozone consumption: 32 g/L
-
COD removal rate: 77.3%
-
Color removal rate: 88.8%
-
No odor
-
Neutral pH
This demonstrates the strong oxidizing capability of ozone in handling complex industrial wastewater.
