Product Description: Dr.Air Titan MAX-4000 Electrostatic Precipitator

1. Product Overview

The Dr.Air Titan MAX-4000 is a significantly upgraded electrostatic precipitator (ESP), engineered specifically for treating industrial smoke and dust. Beyond focusing on filtration efficiency, this unit offers enhanced convenience and durability thanks to major improvements in materials and features.

2. Structural Details

Designed to effectively remove dust, smoke, and airborne pollutants, the Titan MAX-4000 consists of the following key components:

  • Casing: Made from durable powder-coated steel, providing protection for internal components while ensuring an aesthetic industrial look.

  • Primary Pre-filter: Traps large dust particles and prevents rodents or insects from entering the machine.

  • Electrostatic Cell: The core component containing electrodes with opposite charges. It ionizes and attracts dust particles, trapping them on the collector plates.

  • Control Panel: Located on the exterior for easy adjustment of settings.

  • Remote Controller: A separate unit connected directly to the machine. It can be wall-mounted at a convenient location, allowing users to monitor status and toggle power easily.

3. Working Principle

The Dr.Air Titan MAX-4000 operates on the principle of an electrostatic field:

  1. Ionization: A high-voltage power supply creates a strong electromagnetic field at the ionization section of the filter cell. As smoke and dust pass through, they are ionized and become electrically charged.

  2. Collection: These charged particles then pass through the collector plates (charged with the opposite polarity) and are trapped on the surface.

  3. Clean Air Release: The purified air exits through the outlet duct. This technology is currently rated as one of the leading methods for exhaust treatment.

4. Key Features

  • Advanced ESP Technology: Efficiently captures fine dust and smoke, ensuring safe and clean air discharge.

  • Stable Performance: With an airflow of 4000 m³/h, it handles large exhaust volumes suitable for medium-to-large factories.

  • Energy Saving: Operates with low power consumption, significantly reducing electricity costs compared to other systems.

  • Optimized Design: Scientifically designed dimensions and flanges allow for easy integration into existing ductwork.

  • Easy Maintenance: Designed for quick disassembly. The filter cells are easy to remove and clean, ensuring the machine always runs at peak efficiency.

  • Convenient Remote Control: Features intuitive Power/Operation indicators and simple On/Off buttons. The wall-mountable design ensures safe and quick access.

5. Applications

The Titan MAX-4000 addresses pollution concerns across various sectors:

A. General Industrial Exhaust:

  • Metalworking: Filters dust and smoke from steel furnaces and kilns.

  • Cement Production: Treats dust from clinker kilns.

  • Wood Processing: Filters sawdust from planing and sawing machinery.

  • Chemical Industry: Removes chemical dust and acid mists.

  • Incinerators: Treats exhaust from industrial boilers, coal/oil burners, and waste incinerators.

B. Commercial Kitchen Exhaust:

  • Grease & Smoke Removal: Highly effective for industrial canteens (hospitals, schools, factories), large restaurants, and hotels.

  • Safety: Reduces fire hazards caused by grease accumulation in ducts.

6. Installation, Operation & Maintenance Guide

To ensure safety and optimal efficiency, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Installation & Operation:

  1. Placement: The machine must be securely installed on a flat, stable surface.

  2. Ducting: Install dampers if connecting to external ducts. Note: If the external duct is too long or narrow, it may impede airflow and reduce filtration quality.

  3. Power On: Turn on the 220V power source. The indicator on the panel will turn Red. Wait until it turns Green before operating.

  4. Safety Warning: NEVER open any access door while the machine is running to avoid electric shock.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

  • Cleaning Cycle: The electric field, mechanical filters, and grease trays must be cleaned every 150-200 hours of operation (depending on actual usage). Failure to clean may reduce efficiency and cause fire hazards if sparks are suctioned in.

  • Cleaning Procedure:

    1. Power Off: Cut the power 15 minutes before opening the door to allow the charge to dissipate.

    2. Disassembly: Record the wiring position, then remove the electric field carefully. Do not deform the electrode plates.

    3. Cleaning: Wash the components, dry the electric field thoroughly, and clean insulators with a dry cloth.

    4. Reassembly: Reinstall the components and reconnect the wiring (Do not connect the high-voltage generator while the electric field is removed).

    5. Restart: Turn on the fan for 3-5 minutes before starting the ESP unit to complete the process.
