HS industrial exhaust gas treatment system is a specialized product that removes fine particles, dust and smoke, acidic exhaust gas (sulfuric acid), lead oxide smoke, from industrial exhaust gas streams by using electric force similar to electrostatic precipitator technology. The general structure of the HS exhaust gas treatment machine includes a collection pipe system made of 304 stainless steel installed vertically, the distance between pipes is from 1cm – 18cm, the center of the pipe includes a high voltage discharge wire with a charge of several thousand Volts. Exhaust gas is brought from below, flows back up to the exhaust port, and is immediately treated when entering the filter pipe.

Working principle of HS exhaust gas treatment machine

The exhaust gas treatment part is concentrated in the exhaust gas collection filter tubes. The filter tube consists of 2 positive and negative poles. The negative pole is a steel bar with a spike to discharge electricity in the center of the filter tube, in which the positive pole is the inner wall of the circular 304 stainless steel tube.

The distance between the discharge needle and the inner wall of the tube is maintained fixed (the discharge needle is always in the center of the filter tube). When particles enter the filter area, under the effect of a high voltage electric field of 40000V, a corona discharge occurs, thereby creating an environment with many negative charges and free electrons. The charged particles combine with the particles in the exhaust gas, thereby ionizing the particles, causing dust, smoke particles, and fine particles to be electrified and easily retained on the inner filter tube wall due to the opposite electrostatic attraction. The process of collecting and ionizing particles takes place continuously. The filter tubes are cleaned after each shift of operation of the factory or workshop by a special pressure washer system installed inside. The process takes place automatically through the control cabinet of the system operator.
