Working principle
Dr.Air FLIX ECO electrostatic filter treats smoke and dust based on the principle of electric field. First, the power source will provide a large current, at the electrostatic filter, the electrodes create an electromagnetic wave field. Smoke and dust particles passing through the high electric field are ionized into charged molecules. These charged particles passing through the filter with opposite charges will be retained on the surface while the clean air will go out through the pipe. Based on this principle, electrostatic filter technology is considered a leading method of exhaust gas treatment today.

Application

Faced with the dangers of emissions from industrial kitchen smoke, electrostatic air purifier technology was born and became a leading smoke and dust treatment technology. The machine uses a strong electric current to create an electrostatic environment that causes dust and grease particles to be ionized, become electrically unbalanced, and then be attracted by opposite electrodes and cannot go out.
Larger dust particles can hold a larger charge relative to their mass. Therefore, they move faster toward the electrode. Faster movement will result in higher filtration efficiency. Electrostatic precipitators are designed to be large enough to ensure the residence time of the gas stream, typically achieving a collection efficiency of up to 95% for dust particles of 0.3 um in size.
